+ Career

This section is probably missing a few things, because I have not yet seen all of Kodomo no Omocha. I'll be sure to add anything I've missed. Also, this section is based on the anime.

+ Kodomo no Omocha

Kodomo no Omocha, or Child's Toy, is the popular tv show that Sana stars in, along with Zenjirou. There are a variety of other children on the show, but it is quite clear that Sana is the star. ^^ If you've seen *any* of Kodocha, I'm sure you've seen Sana in Child's Toy, so I don't really feel the need to describe the show. Zenjirou and co. often follow Sana around to tape specials of Child's Toy - they even appeared on her class trip. Sana stars in Child's Toy for a long time on and off (not while she's busy filming movies, etc), until it is finally changed to "Middle Aged Women's Toy", starring Zenjirou. @.@; Needless to say, Sana is upset when it ends - she grew up on the show - but she moves on to bigger and better things.

+ Komawari

Komawari is a theatrical group that Sana enrolled in when she was six years old. She learned various skills there which helped her to become quite a good actress. She's constantly babbling about things she learned in Komawari, and even uses some of those skills in other situations too.. For example, she uses her "Komawari Kick!" on Hayama. ^^; Sana also does yearly theater productions with Komawari; she starred in their production of "Bui no Shato" (sorry, I don't have the translation for that). Sana loves the theater, because she thinks it is just like life: no second chances.

"The theater is what I live for! This world where a second chance is not granted, live performance, that's theater!"

+ TV Drama

Sana's first movie was a made for TV drama (I'm not sure of the name), which she starred in along with Kurumi Asako. Sana played a young girl who was in a situation remarkably similar to Hayama's. When she found out about Hayama's family situation, she vowed to do her best in the drama, in hopes that Hayama's family would see how terribly they were behaving. Sana does an excellent job on the drama and succeeds in showing the Hayama family the error in their ways.

+ Commercials

Sana stars in various commercials throughout the series. The ones I'm talking about specifically are near the beginning of the series. Rei-kun decides that he is going to be the best manager, so he books a whole bunch of commercials for Sana to shoot. Unfortunately, he goes overboard. @.@ Sana ends up shooting a ton of commercials (I lost track ^^;), for ice-cream, face-wash and other things. However, she is so busy that she ends up missing a friend's birthday party, and as a result is shunned by her friends for a little while. They make up in the end, of course. ^^

+ Mizu no Yakata

Mizu no Yakata (Water Palace) was Sana's first big movie. It was a strange love story involving a young boy and a ghost (played by Sana). She starred in the movie with Naozumi and Asako, and worked with the well known director Ono Mikio. The movie was shot in the mountains, so Sana had to go away for two months. A great deal happened during these two months - Sana broke her leg and realized she loved Hayama, among other things. She was even trapped in a burning building while shooting one scene. Sana's life changed drastically during the filming of Mizu no Yakata and she matured a great deal. When the movie was finally released, it was a great success and Sana became even more famous.

+ New York

After the premiere of Mizu no Yakata, Sana and Naozumi both receive mysterious invitations. Mr. Gary Hamilton, a famous American producer, has invited them to go to New York to star in a Broadway production called "Endless Summer". After much thought, Sana and Naozumi decide to accept and "run away together". While in New York, they are the target of some hostility from the Americans, but they manage to overcome these problems. The two of them also become closer. ^_- I have not seen the NY arc of Kodocha yet, so that's about all I can tell you. More coming soon!

+ Soap Opera

When Sana and Naozumi return from New York, they begin work on a soap opera, involving a love story that takes place in school. All seems to be going well until Sana is required to say a line that she just can't bring herself to say.

You're a demon child!

Try as she might, Sana cannot and will not say this line, for reasons I think are rather obvious. The writer and producers of the soap opera will not accept this, so poor Sana-chan ends up getting fired. Viscious rumours begin to surface as a result of this, and Sana's good name becomes tarnished. Even so, Sana is a very resiliant young girl and soon recovers.

+ Etc, etc

Sana also takes part in a variety of photo shoots, interviews, press conferences, etc. However, there are just *so* many of them, that I don't think I will go into specifics. ^^;
